Understanding the Costs of Occupational Therapy Support

We believe in making mental health Occupational Therapy accessible and transparent. Here, you’ll find clear information about our therapy costs, what’s included in your sessions, and any available funding options. Individual Support

  • The initial phone consultation to discuss whether the service is right for you or your teenager is free. (Find out more in our FAQs)
  • Initial session €150 in clinic or via zoom.
  • Sessions are €110 via zoom or in clinic.
  • Home/ community visits by arrangement.
  • If you require a report or letter of support there is an additional fee which will be discussed in advance.

Please note, if you are unemployed, a student or struggling with your circumstances we can consider a concessionary rate. Let us know and we can discuss during the initial consultation.

Health Insurance

Occupational Therapy services are covered by many health insurers including VHI and Laya Healthcare. Check your policy or contact your insurer to see if you are covered.

Occupational Therapy Service may be covered by health insurance.

Alternative Options

The HSE offers mental health occupational therapy via the community mental health teams or primary care teams in some areas. You can request a referral from your GP.

  • Typical pricing from €350 per 1 hour workshop, depending on requirements.
