Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service

Way Ahead Therapy is a mental health occupational therapy service with clinics in Dublin, Cork, Roscommon/ N Galway, Kerry and online across Ireland. We provide personalised, evidence-based support to help people manage stress, anxiety, burnout, executive dysfunction and other mental health challenges, with a focus on improving daily functioning and overall well-being. All of our CORU registered occupational therapists offer neuro-affirming and trauma sensitive support.

We offer individual mental health support, both online and face to face (in Cork, Roscommon/ N Galway, Kerry and Dublin), wherever and whenever suits you. Our clinical work is fully evidence-based and delivered by experienced mental health professionals.

About

Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist Jen Trzeciak

Jen Trzeciak is the founder of Way Ahead Therapy. She is a registered Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist. Jen has over 25 years of clinical experience in mental health services. She specialises in working with young people (aged 12-25) and in workplace wellbeing. Jen founded Way Ahead Therapy in response to the gaps in HSE service provision. Way Ahead Therapy was delighted to be awarded ‘Best Professional Service’ in the 2024 DLR Chamber of Commerce Awards.

Jen is registered with CORU , the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland and of the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. She was also appointed by the Minister for Health and currently serves on the CORU Occupational Therapists Registration Board.

Jen has contributed to RTE1’s Drivetime Study Hub and a range of podcasts- check it out.
